Frequently Asked Questions
Before May 22: Pay any bill due during the upgrade window early. Payments cannot be processed on any platform during the outage.
No action needed if:
- Auto-pay is scheduled
- A one-time payment was pre-scheduled
- A check via US Mail is received during the upgrade
Cancellation notice received? Reinstatement eligibility depends on your cancellation effective date and payment due date:
- Effective date before upgrade: Contact your agent or Travelers representative to discuss reinstatement.
- Payment due during upgrade: Pay before Friday, May 22.
- Payment due after upgrade: Pay on time as normal.
- Policy changes: Cannot be made during the upgrade. Make changes before May 22 or after the upgrade via MyTravelers, calling your agent or Travelers representative.
- Proof of insurance / Auto ID Cards: Download before the upgrade. If you didn't, call 1-800-842-5075.
- New quotes & policies: Request or purchase before May 22, or wait until the upgrade is complete. Quotes are valid 30 days — if yours expires during the outage, purchase early or contact your agent.
Claims can be filed at any time — the upgrade does not affect claims services.
